2023 NEW BMW R1250RS | PRESS CONFERENCE & WALKAROUND REVIEW AT EICMA 2022

2023 NEW BMW R1250RS | PRESS CONFERENCE & WALKAROUND REVIEW AT EICMA 2022

Two weeks ago, BMW announced updates to its R 1250 R roadster. It’s not a big surprise, then, that many of those same updates are coming to the R 1250 RS. And just like the roadster, the updated 2023 R 1250 RS remains at the same MSRP as 2022: $15,695.

Visually, the 2023 BMW R 1250 RS doesn’t look much different from last year’s model. Apart from the new color options, the most discernible difference is the 2023 model’s new LED turn indicators. The bodywork and the chassis are otherwise exactly the same. ...

2020 BMW R 1250 RS Review | MC Commute
Motorcyclist Magazine

Eager to fire on all cylinders, BMW is making the most out of its new and improved 1,254cc boxer twin by unveiling another road-focused specification in the 2020 R 1250 RS ($19,840 as tested with destination charge). Positioned as a light-duty naked sport-touring rig, the RS is designed for riders looking to experience the charm of BMW’s unique boxer configuration in a lighter and more compact package versus its more distance-touring-focused R 1250 RT.

Living with the BMW R1250RS - In Depth Review: With it's brilliant R1250 "Shiftcam" engine, the new for 2019 BMW R1250RS is the bike that many say would suit most owners more than the GS. Having now lived with the machine for a couple of weeks I've had a good chance to take a look at the bike in all sorts of conditions and assess that thought. In this video I look at riding the bike in different situations, the likely costs of ownership and the lessons I've learned with the bike, both good and bad.

2020 BMW R1250RS | Comprehensive Test Ride
Grumpy Goat

Check out this *comprehensive* test ride of the new 2020 BMW R1250RS. Is it any better than the previous R1200RS? How is the ShiftCam engine? The new gearbox? Any good in the twisties? What about the highway? How does it handle traffic? Is it worth it to upgrade from the 1200?

I answer all these questions - at least from my perspective. Enjoy.

2019 BMW R1250RS Review
TheMissendenFlyer

Well this one has been a long time coming! I last rode the R1200RS about 3 years ago, I loved the bike and so I was very interested to ride the new improved 2019 version with BMW's new "Shiftcam" technology and the brilliant TFT that BMW do. For some reason it has taken ages for BMW to make the RS available despite announcing it back in November, anyway it's here in dealers now, has it been worth the wait?

2016 BMW R 1200 RS Review
Revzilla

The BMW R1200RS greets 2016 like a petrol-powered phoenix rising from sport-touring ashes. Bridging the gap between sportbike performance and the long-range comforts of larger touring motorcycles, the R 1200 RS hits back at the naysayers of the sport-touring class, and it hits back hard. Too sport? Too touring? Too bad haters, it’s too busy carving up back roads and gobbling up miles to hear you anyway.

2017 BMW R1200RS Review
The Missenden Flyer

This is my review of the BMW R1200R which I was lucky enough to borrow for an extended period recently thanks to the kind folks at Bahnstormer in Maidenhead. The R1200RS is similar to the boxer powered naked R1200R but with an additional fairing to give a little more weather protection, together with a slightly sportier riding position - firmly placing this machine in the "Sport Touring" category...but how does it compare to the similarly powered BMW RT and GS??

The Winner. The 2016 BMW R1200RS is a fantastic motorcycle that solves the problem between the naked R1200R and the touring R1200RT.
